1. The Contestant is not an owner, employee or volunteer in any other local, national or international singing competitions. 

2. The Contestant confirms the information provided in the Entry Form is true and accurate. 

3. All items submitted and the Application Fee are non-returnable. 

4. The Contestant assigns all rights and copyrights of the Video to Candycmusic and Ai Channel for promotional purpose without any further compensation whatsoever. 

5. Candycmusic and Ai Channel will take photos, audio and video recordings of the Preliminary and Finale Contest for publication. Should the Contestant is selected to enter the Preliminary and Finale Contest, he or she agrees that his or her photos, audio and video recordings taken by Candycmusic and Ai Channel are the properties of Candycmusic and Ai Channel in perpetuity, and Candycmusic and Ai Channel has the right to use them for promotion on any media. 6. The Contestant has no legal obligation that would prevent his or her participation in the Event or compliance with the terms and conditions hereafter set forth. 

7. The Contestant recognizes that the words “Sing戰2025 Edmonton & Calgary 選拔賽” are the properties of Candycmusic, and he or she shall not ever use, or authorize others to use them for commercial or promotional purposes without the permission of Candycmusic. 

8. If the Contestant is selected as one of the finalists, he or she will agree to observe all rules and regulations in regards to the Event such as staying in town to participate in training and rehearsal, and complying with image consultation. In the event the Contestant requires live music performance during the Final Contest, approval from Candycmusic is required. 

9. Candycmusic and Ai Channel assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, illegible, or mutilated entries, or for theft, destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Candycmusic are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest, or any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of submissions in the Contest. Candycmusic and Ai Channel assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, providers, computer equipment, software, email, players or browsers, whether on account of technical problems, traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website, or on account of any combination of the foregoing. Candycmusic and Ai Channel are not responsible for any injury, damage or death to participants during the participation of the contest, or to any computer related to or resulting from participating or downloading materials in this Contest. If, for any reason, the Contest is not capable of running as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Hosts which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, the Hosts reserves the right at their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest and select a winner from among all eligible entries received prior to the cancellation.

10. If any of the above representations, warranties and covenants made by the Contestant is false, Candycmusic reserves its right to disqualify the Contestant without any liability on Candycmusic, and to hold the Contestant responsible for any loss and expenses arising out of the situation. 

Awards: • Champion  • 1st Runner Up  • 2nd Runner Up   • People’s Choice Awards；the voter selected through lucky draw will also win a prize.

11. There will be one grand prize awarded to the Champion (the “Prize”), consisting of recording and co-publishing contracts with Candycmusic Production (the “Contracts”) in relation to, without limitation. the recording of 1 original song digital Single (the “Single”) as follows:

• Recording time in a studio with a professional producer (song selection and such producer to be approved by the Hosts) for the recording of the Single;
• The Single published by Candycmusic Production;
• The Single distribution will be handled by Candycmusic Production, both in Canada and worldwide;
• Candycmusic Production will provide promotion, press and publicity, and marketing services. Broadcasting of the Single is within the sole discretion of the radio stations to which it is serviced and is in no way in the control of the Hosts;
• A professional photo shoot and biography;
• Marketing Support around release of the Single;
• The total approximate retail value of the prize is CDN $10,000.

12. The Contestant who is chosen as the potential winner of the Contest will be required to sign a declaration, release and discharge (the “Declaration”). Any Contestant under the age of majority in their province of residence must have their parent or legal guardian review, approve and sign the Declaration. Age of Majority is: 18 years in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Saskatchewan and 19 years in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut and Yukon.
